Job Description:

We are a DevOps Product Team responsible for both maintaining a live product and delivering new project work. Our team supports incoming projects that require authentication services by building new functionality to meet their needs. We ensure the live product remains highly available and secure while also driving new feature development.  In practice, we operate as two teams in one: a Core Scrum Team that shares the same Azure DevOps backlog and sprint cadence, and a subset focused on product support. The product support group prioritizes live production needs first, using any remaining capacity for project work, while additional team members focus exclusively on new project delivery. Role: The Systems Engineer joining our team will serve as the primary owner for all responsibilities within the Systems Engineering domain. Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDET Contractor to support the expansion of High Usage Scenario Testing (HUST) for the Mortgage LOS initiative. This role will focus on designing and implementing robust automated test solutions for complex, integrated workflows. - Review and analysis of Security Controls Analysis documentation as member of the Cyber Security Assessment Team (CSAT).
- Participation on the Nuclear Cyber Security incident response team (CSIRT).
- Analysis of Critical Digital Assets (CDAs) for security breaches and ensuring that Surry Power Station remains in compliance with the Cyber Security Plan.
- Performance of rogue wireless access point scans throughout the station power block and monitoring CDAs for rogue connections.
- Performance of hardening of Windows and Linux workstations and servers.
- Review of industry guidance for cyber security and application of principles to critical systems and critical digital assets.
- Identification of gaps in cyber security controls and recommendation of technical or administrative solutions to remediate the gaps.
- Review of Change Management Records and Design Change Packages for cyber security compliance and impacts.
- Review of cyber security policies, standards, and procedures in support of programmatic requirements to meet our Cyber Security Plan.
- Performance of periodic scans and maintenance of removeable media enrolled in the Portable Media Device program.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- The successful candidate will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, characteristics, experiences, and/or abilities:
Experience with network design and security, firewall configurations and management Windows or Linux Security operating systems security.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment, communicate with other team members or clients and make decisions appropriately after consultation to support assigned projects
- Familiar with security principles, and defense-in-depth techniques
- Familiar with VMware, McAfee (Trellix) ePO and ESM, backup software, ELK Stack, Kibana
- Familiar with nuclear security controls analysis
- Understanding of Nuclear Cyber Security.
- Understanding of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
- Must be dedicated to continuous improvement and implementation of cyber security and cyber compliance best practices to support strategic regulatory compliance objectives for the Nuclear Business Unit
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to present concepts, options or recommendations in a group setting
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software/collaboration tools

High Level Project Overview:
We are looking for a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with hands-on experience of using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines targeting workload deployment in Azure, AWS, OpenShift & Ansible AAP. The ideal candidate will also bring expertise in testing platforms (Tricentis, Playwright, Appium) and artifact management tools (JFrog Artifactory and Sonatype Nexus) and integration of these tools into DevSecOps processes.
As a DevSecOps engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with Enterprise Architects to develop reusable modular automation pipelines across the entire software development life cycle for application & infrastructure workloads. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to drive implementation of best practices, provide guidance, and support teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage reusable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for a variety of workloads across various environments (Azure, AWS, OpenShift, AAP, On-premises Windows).
• Integrate and support test automation frameworks like Tricentis, Playwright, and Appium.
• Administer and optimize artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory or Sonatype Nexus.
• Develop and document best practices, recipes, reusable artifacts, and educational resources
• Ensure UI, testing, and security best practices are followed in all DevSecOps processes.
Education & Preferences:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency (required) & Preference for candidates with experience with the utility industry or
other regulated industry.
